Neena Jivraj Stevenson
Chief Culture Officer
There is a saying that “culture eats strategy for breakfast”. Without creating an environment of trust, collaboration, kindness and healthy challenge, even the best strategies can fail. It means that the way we work and interact is just as important as what we do every day.
In my role as Chief Culture Officer at Queensway, I set the culture and values of our organisation so they are lived and breathed by every member of our 600+ strong team across 6 business units. Using my background as a Management Consultant at Deloitte, I have also defined the company’s corporate governance and strategic planning processes as we strive to scale up each of our operating businesses.
In 2018, I established the Queensway Foundation through which the company can positively impact the world. Through the Foundation we fundraise for causes we believe in and most importantly, provide all our team members with confidential support when they face personal challenges.
For me, my work has never just been a job, it is about driving something I believe in, actively supporting and developing those around me and ultimately positively impacting the world around me.
In 2019, I completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School which gave me a unique perspective on strategy, leadership, corporate responsibility, culture and organisational change. In 2020, I was listed as one of Management Today’s 35 female business leaders under 35.
