Queensway partners with Hospitality Action to support team members through the pandemic and beyond

In 2018, the Queensway Foundation came into being as the place for our teams to come when they faced personal difficulties. Over the last 2 years we have assisted team members through their hardships and it has been a genuine privilege to be trusted in their time of need.

In the current climate, we felt it was vital to enhance the support we offered our teams. For this reason, the Queensway Foundation have partnered with Hospitality Action, the UK’s leading hospitality charity to offer each member of the UK Queensway family access to a formal assistance programme through which they can access free professional legal, financial, emotional and wellbeing advice completely anonymously.

Each Queensway team member is now able to log into Hospitality Action's wellness portal with information, wellbeing course and advice as well an online chat service which is monitored by qualified clinicians. Additionally, the team can seek help via a 24/7 telephone helpline and are entitled to 6 free one-to-one counselling sessions. Needs based financial grants can also be applied for which are assessed by the charity.

In these uncertain times, it is our responsibility to be there for our teams as we navigate this challenge together. We are pleased to be able to offer this additional support to the people who make Queensway the business that it is.
