A new Starbucks Drive Thru in Peterborough is added to the Queensway Coffee Houses portfolio
On February 19th 2021, a new Starbucks Drive Thru outlet opened at the front of a Morrisons store on Lincoln Road, Walton, creating 20 jobs.
The store was opened as a Drive Thru only and the café area will open as soon as lockdown restrictions allow. To celebrate the opening, welcome drink vouchers were distributed by local businesses in the area and social media competitions running.
The team in store will support the British Heart Foundation as its local charity partner throughout the year. The BHF’s vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases.
Shakeel Jivraj, head of operations at Queensway Coffee Houses, said: “We are so excited to open our new store in Peterborough joining our Starbucks Cathedral store. The team are closely following guidance from both Government and health authorities to keep everyone safe in-store. We can’t wait to start welcoming new faces over the next few weeks.”
