Queensway and St Mungo’s Celebrate First Six Months of Partnership to Support Homelessness Initiatives
Queensway and St Mungo’s have marked an impactful six months in their three-year partnership to help end homelessness across the UK. From April to October 2024, Queensway raised over £42,000 to support St Mungo’s outreach, client support, and community reintegration initiatives, with a goal to reach £60,000 annually. Highlights include the “Miles for Mungo’s” challenge, raising £16,500, and an Annual Golf Day that generated over £19,000.
Members of the Queensway team have volunteered over 68 hours across various events, including outreach shifts with the Westminster Street Outreach Team, garden refurbishments, and client engagement activities. “It’s been inspiring to see Queensway’s hands-on dedication to ending homelessness and rebuilding lives,” shared Jay Hunt, Head of Partnerships at St Mungo’s.
Queensway’s partnership with St Mungo’s is not just about financial support but about creating meaningful change in communities. The journey continues as both organisations explore more initiatives, such as skilled volunteering, outreach, and fundraising challenges, to drive the mission forward.
