Queensway Hosts Successful Charity Golf Day 2024 in Support of St Mungo’s
On Thursday, 12th September 2024, Queensway held its highly anticipated annual Charity Golf Day at South Herts Golf Club in London. The event brought together 15 enthusiastic teams for a Texas Scramble tournament, all united in support of our charity partner, St Mungo’s.
The day was a mix of sunshine and a brief hailstorm, adding a little excitement to the friendly competition on the course. After a fantastic round of golf, participants gathered for a delicious lunch, followed by the much-anticipated prize-giving ceremony and a lively raffle.
St Mungo’s is a charity who works tirelessly to end homelessness, and they are there for tens of thousands of people each year who need them, to end their homelessness and help them rebuild their lives. Our partnership with St Mungo’s is part of Queensway’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in our communities. Over the course of this partnership, we aim to fundraise, volunteer our time, and raise awareness to support this critical cause.
We are proud to announce that £19,385 was raised during this year’s event, which brings our total annual fundraising for St Mungo’s to over £30,000. These funds will play a vital role in helping St Mungo’s continue its life-changing work and assist individuals experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives.
