Miles for Mungo’s Turning Everyday Steps into Lasting Impact

This month, colleagues from across Queensway Group, including our hotels, restaurants and support teams, are coming together for Miles for Mungo’s, a collective challenge with a powerful purpose.

What began on Blue Monday as a way to lift spirits during the coldest weeks of the year has quickly grown into something far bigger. Miles for Mungo’s has become a shared movement, bringing colleagues together across the Group to support people facing homelessness.

The reality is stark. Last year, tens of thousands of people experienced homelessness or rough sleeping across England. Our charity partner, St Mungo’s, is there when it matters most, offering safety, support and a route forward. Through 138 services, St Mungo’s supports more than 26,000 people every year, helping to change lives one person at a time.

As a Group, we set ourselves an ambitious goal of 15,000 miles and £15,000 in just one month. The momentum so far has been inspiring. Already, 334 colleagues have clocked up 3,500 miles and raised almost £5,500, an incredible start driven by care, commitment and community.

Every mile taken and every conversation shared helps to make a difference. What may feel like a small action to one of us can mean warmth, shelter and hope for someone else. Together, we can keep the miles moving and the impact growing.
