I’m Alessio, and I joined the business in 2026 as IT Manager for Point A Hotels and Montagu Place at Queensway.

Technology has always been a big part of my life, both at work and outside of it. I’ve spent my career working across hospitality, IT and software development, and I’ve always enjoyed finding practical ways to make things simpler, whether that means fixing a problem, improving a process or building something from scratch. Outside of work, I’m still usually doing something tech-related. I enjoy developing software, experimenting with new ideas and building games in my spare time. I also love driving, playing chess and video games in general, so there’s a good chance I’m either building something, playing something or overthinking my next chess move.

For me, feeling included at work is mostly about being able to be yourself. Everyone has a different background, personality and way of thinking, and I think teams are much stronger when people feel comfortable bringing that with them. Since joining Queensway, I’ve felt able to share my ideas, be myself and approach things in my own way, which has made it very easy to feel part of the team.
