I joined Queensway as Head of People to lead our group-wide people strategy and help bring the Queensway values to life in the day-to-day experience of our teams. Most recently, my career has been spent in high-growth start-ups, where I have built People teams, systems and ways of working from the ground up, creating the foundations that allow both businesses and their people to thrive.

 

My role is to shape and deliver our people strategy across the group, working closely with leaders to turn strategy into everyday reality and to drive initiatives across performance, talent and engagement. This ensures our people have the support, opportunities and environment they need to thrive in their careers at Queensway, connect with one another and have fun along the way.

A particularly important part of the role for me is the purpose it brings, including supporting our charitable partnerships and helping ensure we continue to make a positive impact beyond our business. Alongside this, I am focused on building scalable, modern people practices that support both growth and culture.

 

I began my career at PwC, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, which gave me a strong commercial grounding and a deep belief that great people strategy and great business strategy should always go hand in hand. Since then, I have focused on having a positive, practical impact, scaling teams, improving engagement and retention, and building environments where people feel supported and able to do the best work of their careers.
