Queensway Europe Opens New KFC Restaurant in Linz

Queensway Europe continues to expand its footprint across Austria, marking another milestone with the opening of a new KFC restaurant in the heart of Linz.

Located on Schmidtorstraße / Annagasse, the new site brings a modern, high-street presence to one of the city’s busiest central locations. Spanning approximately 660 m² across two levels, the restaurant features 154 indoor seats and an additional 21 outdoor covers, designed to accommodate both high footfall and flexible dining occasions.

This latest opening reflects Queensway Europe’s continued investment in prime urban locations and contemporary restaurant formats. The space has been designed with a focus on openness, natural light, and a digitally enabled guest journey, combining operational efficiency with a strong brand experience.

Guests can expect a fully modernised environment, including digital ordering kiosks and a layout that supports both quick-service convenience and more relaxed, social dining. The design aligns with Queensway Europe’s broader strategy to position KFC as a modern, everyday brand with strong appeal to urban and younger audiences.

The Linz opening forms part of a wider growth trajectory, with Queensway Europe now operating a growing network of KFC restaurants across Austria and Slovakia and targeting significant expansion in the coming years.
