Volunteers Help Refresh Garden at St Mungo’s Service
July 8, 2026

Last week, a group of volunteers spent the day at one of St Mungo’s services, helping to restore a garden that had become overgrown and difficult to use.

Working together, the team cleared weeds, cut back overgrowth and tidied the space, making it accessible once again for residents. The garden can now be used as a place to spend time outdoors, relax and enjoy some fresh air.

Access to outdoor space can make a real difference to wellbeing, and we’re pleased that residents will now be able to make greater use of the garden.

A big thank you to everyone who gave their time and effort to support the project. Their contribution has helped create a practical and welcoming space that residents can enjoy throughout the year.
