I am the Operating Partner at Queensway. My role is to support each of the businesses’ MDs and their Leadership Teams to make each business better. Better for customers, colleagues, and shareholders!

I started my career as a Graduate at Bain & Company, a global Management Consulting firm. From here I have worked as a Strategy Director (at Somerfield Supermarkets), an Operations Director (running Miller & Carter Steakhouses) and a Commercial Director (at Maplin Electronics), before becoming CEO of Maplin and then Gaucho Restaurants. My last role before joining Queensway was as Operating Partner for Equistone, a Pan-European Private Equity Fund.

I live in the West Country, near Cirencester, with my wife Camilla (we are celebrating our 25-year wedding anniversary this year!) and our 4 children, Saskia, Sophia, Algie and Hector. Although Saskia and Sophia are at university, so we don’t see that much of them these days!

Inclusion for me means that, regardless of where you have come from and who you are, you are equally valued and supported. Queensway welcomed me with open arms from day one, and I have felt comfortable to be myself ever since.

I am super-lucky to work across all the businesses at Queensway – and this means that I interact with lots of different people, at all levels of the organisation. Spending time with our amazing colleagues, be that in our Point A hotels, The Sloane Club, our teams in Starbucks or in KFC provides a great insight into our businesses – but also a huge sense of belonging!
