Group Finance Director

I joined Queensway in June 2016 as Group Finance Director to assist the growth of the group at a key strategic juncture in its development. 

I have over 25 years of experience in senior operational and finance roles in the leisure and hospitality sectors.  My experience spans operational and corporate finance, corporate and tax structuring, debt raising, investor reporting as well as strategy, investment and development. 

I worked at Land Securities plc as Finance Director for their Leisure business, overseeing the transition of X-Leisure into Land Securities when they became majority shareholders. 

Prior to this, I was one of the founders of X-Leisure, which was at £1bn AUM the UK’s largest dedicated leisure fund at the time. Over my 12 years, the vehicle went through two fund cycles, raised £50m of equity in 2008 & restructured over £500m of syndicated loans.  X-Leisure started as part of Capital & Regional plc before becoming an independent fund.  I was also an Executive Board Director of Snozone, the UK’s largest operator of indoor real snow ski slopes following my involvement in the turnaround of the Millennium Dome in Greenwich. 

There are many elements to my role at Queensway. I help a talented team navigate through the challenges of rapid growth and support the wider executive team and our external shareholders to make and implement key strategic decisions.
